Research and develop the creation of a bio-refinery for the extraction of bioactives with a prebiotic effect from the revaluation of by-products from the food industry.

A search is made for new sources of bioactives of plant origin (fruits and vegetables) and of animal origin (whey) with a prebiotic function, with special interest in revaluing the food waste that we find most in the Basque Country region.
