Ugapa is a research and development project that studies different processes and technologies to improve the carbon footprint of paperboard manufacturing.

The project encompasses raw material selection and processing, resource utilization, reduced energy and water use, and the combination of different process technologies to ultimately advance the goal of opening up new avenues for designing decarbonization processes with a life-cycle approach.
